The Mask Force worked entirely off of donations and provided over 2500 masks from April-August of 2020 when PPE was in shortages across the nation. We provided masks to the elderly, Homeless, Dr. Offices, A Cancer Ward, Veterinary Offices, The Local Police Force, Foster Care Workers, essential employees, and anyone who reached out with a need. Our final batches were for schools and people with disabilities needing special smile masks so that one could read lips.

Professor Ludlow involved the Costume Construction Class Fall of 2019 in a wonderful charitable act called "Little Dresses for Africa". Each student learned valuable basic sewing skills as well as learned how to make a simple dress for children that cannot easily obtain new clothing in remote parts of Africa. It was a wonderful experience and something that none of us will soon forget.
