In my early design training at Valdosta State University, I petitioned to be the designer for the School's devised theater show taking place in our black box space. Deeply rooted in training of concept and viewpoints training I was able to create a lovely little design featuring a pit "lake" for an actor to fall in. A shadow puppet stage. A Narrator nook and leveled playing space for dynamic movement for the actors. Not only was I the designer, I was in charge of props, puppetry, set dressing and assited heavily in the painting.
