The Scenic Route Art & Design was founded on the belief that storytelling shapes how people experience the world. Through scenic design, educational research, and interdisciplinary creative practice, the studio explores the relationship between space, accessibility, emotion, and human connection.

Whether through theatrical environments, public art, or educational design, my work is rooted in the idea that spaces influence the way people feel, connect, and learn. I approach design as both a visual and emotional experience—one that invites curiosity, reflection, and belonging.
Designing for a Difference
As an educator and PhD researcher in curriculum and instruction, my work also explores neurodiverse accessibility, inclusive learning design, and human-centered educational practices. I am particularly interested in how theatre and experiential design can create more engaging and equitable environments for learners of all backgrounds.
